A Restful Day

Tomorrow will be my last on call shift of anesthesia to finish up my anesthesia rotation. It was an intense rotation for me since I was doing it all day and dreaming about it every night. I learned a lot and became a lot more comfortable with the different drugs and how dogs and cats reacted to each. I am really happy I took it early on in my fourth year, so I can be more prepared for my other rotations. My next rotation is Primary Care. I am excited to start working with clients and taking general health appointments with our clinicians.
Today I slept in and rested while I was on call during the day. It was nice to have a lazy day and catch up on rest. The rain stopped around 2pm so I took Ruby for a walk then I headed to the Allen Centennial Garden on campus to take some photos.

I am on call starting in the morning, but I am hoping to hopefully have a restful day again and catch up on some paperwork and start studying for Monday.
